Prerequisite – Set Up Your Subscription

Beforehand, make sure to create a subscription plan in this section and finish by integrating it via Discord.

⚒️Set Up Your Subscription

Step 1 - Setup Your Paid Role

Once your plan is created on https://suby.fi/subscribe/create, you’ll receive a message in your Discord server. Use /setuprole to link the plan ID (included in the message) to the paid role you want to assign.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the Suby bot role is placed above the role you want me to assign (e.g. @paidrole) in your server settings. Otherwise, Suby bot won’t be able to assign roles to your subscribers.

Step 2 - Create & Setup Your Reminder Channel

Create a public #reminders channel with “Send Messages” permission enabled for the @Suby Bot. Then, run the /setupreminders command and select the correct channel. To keep key messages visible, we recommend restricting posting permissions to @Suby Bot only.

Step 3 - Create & Setup Your Subscription Channel

Create a public #subscription channel with “Send Messages” permission enabled for the @Suby Bot. Then, run the /setupsubscriptions command and select the correct channel. To keep key messages visible, we recommend restricting posting permissions to @Suby Bot only. If the bot doesn’t have the right permissions, it won’t be able to post and will throw an error, make sure to grant the bot posting permissions! A button will appear, future subscribers just have to click it to subscribe.

Step Bis – Create an additional subscription plan

• Fill in your Discord group details as mentioned in the Setup a subscription plan section

At the end, select your server and your plan will be created.

Suby Bot receives the information and sends you a private message on Discord:

✅ To let your users subscribe to this plan, follow this step:
Use the command /setuprole — select your paid role and enter your Plan ID

In the config channel of your Discord server, you type:

/setuprole role:@PaidRole id:L2SL5QUEIY7Q1WSKJ3JO

Suby Bot automatically links the subscription plan to the Discord role. It confirms the addition:

✅ The role @PaidRole is now linked to your subscription plan L2SL5QUEIY7Q1WSKJ3JO

The plan is automatically added to the available subscription choices for users. Suby Bot updates the initial subscription message in the subscription channel to include the new plan.

No manual action is required from you; everything updates automatically.
